I’ve learned that it takes time and hard work to lose weight in a healthy manner.
"I've been on several crash diets before Nutriworks where I lost weight just to gain it all back. After working with them for over a year, I’ve learned that it takes time and hard work to lose weight in a healthy manner. There were a few times I was frustrated with my progress but the encouragement from Eve and Bethany really helped me to pull through and achieve my goals. As a result:
- I’ve built muscle (nearly 20 lbs over 14 months)
- I’ve lost body fat (down ~15% over 14 months)
- I have more energy
- I have more confidence
- I’ve learned what foods I’m intolerant to
- I don’t get sick as much as I used to
- I sleep better
Even though I could not see noticeable weight loss at first, my body composition was changing so I would encourage those who want to lose weight to use additional metrics besides just the scale.
I would refer Nutriworks! I think this program is good for anyone looking to lose weight in a safe and healthy manner."

Of course, I love the weight loss and smaller body, but I am amazed at how the majority of my days have energy, runs have felt great, and sleep improved.
"I have been working with Eve since November 2023, the week before Thanksgiving. But I am not finished with my journey as I am training for my first marathon Jan. 1,2025!
I started my journey for weight loss, but then moved into fueling for my workouts that were getting harder. Eve taught me the macros my body needs and that will fuel my training. Of course, I love the weight loss and smaller body, but I am amazed at how the majority of my days have energy, runs have felt great, and sleep improved. I am not so sore after long runs and races that walking is a struggle for days.
I like the accountability of meeting with Eve in person and trying to learn as much as I can with each visit. I have lost 30 inches, 6%body fat and 40 pounds. I feel like a new person.
I think anyone that would like to lose weight and wants to have more energy to enjoy any activity should consider using Nutriworks. Eve is so supportive of her clients and positive with each visit."

I've lost 30 pounds and my training has been spectacular so far this year.
"One of the reasons I put off contacting a nutritionist for so long was that I was worried it would be "hard" to train and diet. But I never really felt like I was on a diet once I had met with Maria and understood the plan. Yes, sometimes I was in a caloric deficit, but Maria made sure that I was eating enough as my training changed to ensure I was never really hungry. And when I did get hungry, she worked with me to figure out how my food choices were or were not adding up. I knew the adage "calories in versus calories out", but putting it together as macros and timing the food was a game changer. For example, a carb heavy morning is going to leave me starving at night. So managing my protein at breakfast and lunch sets me up to continue to feel good through the evening meal and beyond.
I've lost 30 pounds and my training has been spectacular so far this year. Maria has also been very responsive to my emails in between meetings, and I am very grateful to feel like I can get her opinion on something pretty quickly.
I think anyone who trains a lot but is gaining weight (this was my situation) needs to look at their nutrition. I didn't understand how I could burn so many calories and still gain weight. Maria helped me sort out what was going on (again, timing of the meals and macros), so that the weight came off, and now I look like I train as much as I do."

Losing weight wasn't a goal when we started - I wanted to focus on body comp and overall nutrition - but I have lost weight in the form of fat and I couldn't be happier. I am much more comfortable in my body and when working out.
"Going through perimenopause, I had gotten into a habit of eating out too often and reaching for a sweet snack when my energy levels dropped. Working with Maria helped me to refocus to eat nutritious foods.
I was in a deep funk and dialing in my nutrition was the catalyst for getting out of that negative loop. I had counted macros for years, but I always counted macros daily. Maria helped me break my macros down by meal so that those macros were balanced and in line with my daily macro count. Doing so has helped me feel satiated longer and energy levels are steady throughout the day.
Losing weight wasn't a goal when we started - I wanted to focus on body comp and overall nutrition - but I have lost weight in the form of fat and I couldn't be happier. I am much more comfortable in my body and when working out. My sugar cravings have stopped and my mental health has improved greatly! I would and I have recommended this service. I think almost everyone could benefit."

The best result is that I feel better overall and am more confident. My husband also lost weight simply by eating better along with me!
"Working with Eve was the best decision I made last year and I’ve continued to work with her in 2024! Eve taught me how to look at food differently and how to manage both what I ate and when I ate. As a night shift worker, she helped me balance healthy eating with a difficult sleep/work schedule and I learned how eating better helps me feel better and even increases my energy! Eve is patient and kind and always made me feel like I could make progress!
I lost nearly 20 pounds and 9% body fat. The best result is that I feel better overall and am more confident. My husband also lost weight simply by eating better along with me!
If you have been wondering if it's worth it to invest money into your health, just do it!!! It will be money and time well spent, your health is worth it! I tell people all the time about Eve! Nutriworks is for anyone who wants to make changes to their lifestyle, change eating and exercise habits, or become a better athlete."

I've gained 13lbs of lean muscle mass without changing my workouts (and with no change in body fat %).
"Overall the plan worked very well and it was easy to follow. Eve gave me step by step instructions with meal plans that worked for me. Eve is an endurance athlete and clearly understood and related to my goals.
Through Nutriworks, I have:
1. Gained 13lbs of lean muscle mass without changing my workouts (and with no change in body fat %)
2. Learned what balanced meals look like and how to incorporate them into my daily life.
3. Learned how to optimize nutrition based on my activities, work, etc. For example, my morning workouts used to be completed after eating a granola bar and coffee. After working with Eve, I began eating a well balanced meal prior to workouts. This gave me more energy and helped me accomplish goals rather quickly.
Anyone who is active (endurance sports, strength training, overall well being) could benefit from working with Nutriworks. Eve is fantastic."

Once I got with Maria, cutting weight was a breeze… ultimately ended up placing 3rd place in my international boxing event.
"I’ve been competing in boxing for roughly 6 years. Once I got with Maria, cutting weight was a breeze. I was satisfied with the food I was eating so it made it easy to stay right on track. I was in the best shape of my life and ultimately ended up placing 3rd place in my international boxing event.
Working with Maria and Nutriworks helped me a lot in understanding how to eat and when to eat. This was crucial to performance and recovery. The most valuable thing was learning how my body reacts to certain foods. Not everyone is the same so Maria definitely takes that into consideration when making custom meal plans.
I was about to get on a regimen and she helped me lose roughly 17 lbs in 8 weeks and put me in the 10% body fat range. I would absolutely refer the services to all my fellow gym buddies and anyone trying to lose weight and get in shape.”

I lost weight, built muscle, and gained greater confidence with race day and every day nutrition!
"While struggling my way through a marathon in December of 2022, a wonderful friend offered the suggestion to go see a dietitian to help with running nutrition. I started working with Eve in January of 2023. I was the classic example of running the miles in order to eat whatever I wanted. Well, that mentality finally caught up to me!
Going to see Eve was one of the best decisions. She taught me so much about nutrition and built a plan specifically for me and my goals! I learned what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat. As a result, I lost weight, built muscle, and gained greater confidence with race day and every day nutrition! I am so excited to chase down my PRs in 2024!
The best part has been accomplishing goals with many people I love! As my family and friends watched what Eve did for me, they also started seeing her. I highly recommend it!”

I improved my marathon from 4:00:31 to 3:43:52! That is a 17 minute improvement in less than a year!
"Working with Maria helped me train safely for a marathon during the summer and become leaner! I wanted to perform as best as I could for my marathon in Berlin and I lost some weight, increased my muscle mass, and became healthier overall!
My main goal was to gain fitness to be as ready as possible for my marathon. Training for a marathon is already hard on the body, and even more so during this past summer. I wanted to make sure I was doing everything as safely as possible. My previous training cycle was super exhausting and I was constantly hungry and tired. This time, I noticed how much more energy I had during all my runs once I was fueling properly, especially my long runs on Saturday; I never felt tired and I never missed a workout due to fatigue. I saw improvement in my performance during training and could tell I was getting faster. I improved my marathon from 4:00:31 to 3:43:52! That is a 17 minute improvement in less than a year!
I definitely would recommend Nutriworks! I used to think pizza was the perfect prerace meal, but realized that isn't the case. I never realized how much fat is in our foods! It was helpful to log my food and have Maria monitor it so I could make changes when necessary. I would recommend a runner that doesn't know much about food (like I did) and how it can benefit their performance.
Maria was great to work with and I plan to use Nutriworks again during my next marathon training cycle. I love how my clothes fit now and I am still following most of the nutrition plan she created for me. I feel better overall and super happy with the results!”

Even during bumpy life events divorce, marriage, cross-country moves, loss of loved ones, changing jobs - what I learned from Nutriworks was always there.
"I have worked on and off with Nutriworks since 2006, receiving support at different phases of my life. Throughout these years and life stages, I've achieved remarkable results from working with the team.
At one stage, I decreased my body fat from 22% to 13% over a couple of years with decreased waist circumference from 34.8 inches to 16.9 inches, decreased fat mass from 34.8 lbs to 16.9 lbs, and decreased total weight from 156 lbs to 130 lbs. Results take time! This was during a period of my life when I was all about triathlon (for the record, I'm just a regular ol' gal... not a fast person, just an ordinary back of the packer who wanted to make change).
Another, more current stage in my life includes perimenopause. I’ve successfully reduced my weight from ~170 lbs to ~148 lbs while reducing my body fat from 32% down to 24%.
Even during bumpy life events divorce, marriage, cross-country moves, loss of loved ones, changing jobs - what I learned from Nutriworks was always there. I might not have been able to leverage what I learned, but I always came back to it either by reconnecting and getting support or on my own by using the tools I learned about meal planning, nutritional balance, fueling properly for exercise because yes, this is important even for us regular folks! I don't fall for goofy nonsense fads. I know from my experience that nutrition is a science and there's no crazy magic to it, but it IS totally magic because it works! I've learned that I can have command over my choices and that every whim doesn't need to be catered to.... I have more choices. I still make very human choices and not always the right one, but I have more CHOICE because I'm armed with knowledge and have experience being supported in doing things the right way.
Food is fuel and working with Nutriworks at different stages in my life has taught me that I can enjoy food, feel nourished and be healthy. It's always been about progress not perfection for me.
I have been referring people for years and will continue to do so. The Nutriworks team is good for the athlete, the ordinary mortal just doing the best they can, the busy person, the person with big goals... it works for everyone! If I could give everybody that wants it the opportunity to work with Nutriworks and benefit in the ways I have I'd feel like I'd given back a fraction of what I've got!”

I'm down 20+ lbs and I hit my goals for the Shamrock Shuffle (March 2023), the Stars & Stripes Half marathon (June 2023) and my first marathon (Chicago in October 2023).
"I started working with Maria (Nutriworks Inc) in February 2023. I knew my body needed a reset and had some running goals in mind for the year. Maria did a great job of listening to my specific goals and provided valuable information to help me feel confident about the steps I took to reach my goals. Fast forward to October 2023: I'm down 20+ lbs and I hit my goals for the Shamrock Shuffle (March 2023), the Stars & Stripes Half marathon (June 2023) and my first marathon (Chicago in October 2023).
I am a runner at heart (started in middle school), and I've been given lots of varying opinions on how to properly fuel my body. It was not until I started working with Maria that I began to understand how to properly fuel my body before, during and after my runs. I credit her for my success in my 2023 races. I look forward to continuing to work with Maria as I shift my goals to increasing my strength and toning as I near my wedding in June 2024.
I would refer Maria and Nutriworks Inc to anyone who needs to reset or even jumpstart the way they fuel their body. It doesn't matter if you're a new-comer or a long-time athlete, everyone can benefit from understanding how to properly fuel your body before, during and after training.”

Being lighter on my feet and properly fueled made all the difference in the world. I loved how I felt on race day - lean and strong!
"Nutriworks (and Maria) taught me how to properly fuel my training and racing. As a triathlete, I often have workouts in the morning and in the evenings. I have learned how to eat to prepare for these workouts as well as how to eat to fuel for recovery. I also learned how much I need to drink during training in order to remain properly hydrated. Learning how to balance my daily macros to insure that I am eating the proper amounts was of great value.
I was steadily gaining weight before I started working with Nutriworks. I think that I finally hit a point where I was no longer able to out-exercise a bad diet. With the guidance I received from Maria and Nutriworks I was able to hit my goal body fat percentage and weight. It is exciting to fit into clothes I never thought that I’d wear again and I’d given up on myself. I feel so much better too - my energy has increased and training has improved.
I learned how to plan meals with the appropriate balance of macros. I tried some new recipes and have some new favorite foods and snacks that I had never considered before. It was super helpful to have my days set up in My Fitness Pal. In the beginning, I would enter everything that I planned to eat the next day to make sure that it lined up with my calorie and macros goals. It was easier to stay on track when I knew exactly what I would be eating. Maria also gave me a plan for eating the two days leading into my recent Half Ironman. I really think that following the plan helped me feel properly fueled and ready for race day. Having a fueling and hydration plan for race day helped a lot - it gave me something to focus on and insured that I was on track with calories and hydration.
I am so happy that I made the decision to work with Nutriworks and wish that I’d done it sooner. I recently raced Ironman Oregon 70.3 and had a PR! But more importantly, I had a race that I can really feel proud of - it has been a few years since I could say that. Being lighter on my feet and properly fueled made all the difference in the world. I loved how I felt on race day - lean and strong! I could talk on and on about my experiences. Thank you so much, Nutriworks, for your help. It has been life changing stuff. I’m ready to tackle some big, scary goals in 2024!
I would certainly refer this service to someone! I think that a person like myself could benefit (as I have) - someone who trains hard and does the work but still sees the scale creeping up despite that. Someone who is interested in learning how to fuel their training and recovery would find this service very valuable.”

The dietitians at Nutriworks helped me to reach my goals. I lost 15 pounds and was taught tools to maintain healthy habits.
"Dieting" had always intimidated me because after I reached my goals, I didn’t know what to do. I had started and stopped numerous popular diets (like Whole 30) because I didn't know what I was doing and was always discouraged by the lack of results. At Nutriworks, I had an entire session dedicated to maintenance, where I was taught how many calories to burn and how many calories to consume in order to keep up with the goals I had reached. It was freeing to see numbers that felt completely achievable with my current day to day schedule and lifestyle. I also was taught I needed to severely increase my protein intake. As someone who doesn't eat a lot of meat, that felt foreign to me. They helped me to establish creative ways to increase my protein (eggs, smoothies, etc.).
I also travel a lot and enjoy eating out with friends. Nutriworks taught me how to make choices to not only reach my goals, but also how to choose foods that make me feel good. Along with reaching my weight/body fat goals, I also noticed an increase in physical energy. I have even doubled my cardio and am running over 4 miles at a time, something I'd never done before!
Nutriworks was really easy to work with. The plan I utilized gave me a month of established meal plans, which was great for creating healthy habits and exploring ways to incorporate new foods into my diet. After, I created my own meal plans and was provided with feedback. I enjoyed that because I was able to incorporate some of my favorite foods and get feedback on how to make it healthier (which for me usually meant adding in more protein). My grocery bill increased significantly the first month, however it balanced back out the following weeks as I was reusing staples that I'd purchased up front.
I would absolutely recommend working with the Nutriworks team! I think everyone can benefit - whether you have goals that feel far to reach or just want to learn how to make healthier choices, Nutriworks can help.

The virtual option has been a game changer for me... I have improved my speed with running and learned how to fuel my body to take on high strain and long runs without excessive fatigue or burn out.
I have a whole new outlook on nutrition and food since I have been working with Maria and Nutriworks, Inc. Before this, I did not have a good relationship with food and always felt like I was trying the latest fad diet or new way to eat that was never sustainable. Working with Maria has shown me that building a menu does not have to be difficult and eating for what my body needs and my goals is something that works and is more effective at getting me to by body and fitness goals. I have improved my speed with running and learned how to fuel my body to take on high strain and long runs without excessive fatigue or burn out.
Having accountability was a huge part of my success with Nutriworks, Inc and Maria. I knew that I had to check in every few weeks and I did not want to have a check in where I wasn't making progress. I needed to have Maria break down the specific macros that my body needed and combine that with my fitness goals and running plan to determine my caloric needs each day. I feel like it was so helpful to have a personalized plan that worked and access to Maria through email, etc if I had questions. I was able to finally make progress with my fitness goals and lose body fat and I had tried and failed for years prior to finding Nutriworks, Inc.
I have lost inches from my hips and waist to the point where it is truly changing my body composition. So far I have lost 3.5 inches from my waist, 4.5 inches from my hips, and 2 inches from my thighs. I have lost a total of 10% body fat since I started working with Maria! The scale says I have lost 11.2 lbs since Sept 2022, but in reality I have lost around 17 lbs of fat mass and gained around 6 lbs of muscle. I feel like the layer of fat that I have been holding on to has now diminished because I learned how to eat in a way that is realistic and sustainable- even with my busy life and long hours at work.
The virtual option has been a game changer for me since I am all the way in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was referred by a runner friend that lives in Fort Worth and I have been so impressed with how she has improved her running times and lost weight/changed her body composition in the process. She spoke very highly of this service and I have had nothing but an amazing experience with Maria and Nutriworks, Inc. I will continue to maintain my relationship with Maria and having the accountability aspect is something that helps me to continue to stay on track.
I 100% would refer this nutrition service to anyone who is struggling to fit proper nutrition into their fitness routine. It makes a huge difference in hitting fitness goals and that is a lesson I learned through this entire experience. The type of person who would benefit from this service could range from someone who is new to running and fitness and trying to figure out how to piece it all together all the way up to elite athletes. There is something for everybody with this service and I am by no means an elite athlete but I want to be a faster, more efficient runner and have learned that proper nutrition is a huge part of fitness.

Overall I have more energy, I feel better physically, and my general mood and outlook on life has improved.
I have loved working with Eve - she’s a great listener and has been such a huge help in my fitness journey these last few months. I know I couldn’t have done it without her and the Nutriworks team!
Over the last 8 months, I’ve learned how to properly fuel my body (without making huge changes to the foods I was already eating) to get to my goal weight. As a result, I finally have the confidence to try new things that I was too scared or embarrassed to do before. I recently got into running and ran my first half marathon! Overall I have more energy, I feel better physically, and my general mood and outlook on life has improved.

I wish I had done this sooner. I am taking away life long lessons in nutrition and in sport.
I (like many people I know) put on weight during the COVID lockdown. Before COVID, I felt like I was in some of the best shape of my life, but through exercise alone. During COVID, we (my husband and I) started to get more take-out and my exercise fell flat. Fast forward 2 years, I realized that the extra weight wasn't going anywhere unless I made big changes.
My husband decided he wanted to do another Ironman triathlon, but he too had gained weight. After I brought up seeing a sport nutritionist for some time to help him, he said he was ready to go. I told him I would do it with him. We started seeing Eve in October 2022.
Now, I have lost my COVID weight (down 15 lbs and over 6 inches) and have found my lost energy again. I was able to lose body fat while maintaining muscle. It was hard work, but Eve gave me every tool and support that I needed. I am back to being more confident in my clothes and am now cleaning out my closet from the clothes that are too big! The energy and just overall feeling better is what has been the best for me. I am not as tired and rundown as I was before. I am fueling my body for my workouts and for my life.
Along with more energy, I recover better after working out or a long day. My running speeds are becoming faster weekly. My recent blood work has shown the best cholesterol levels I have had in years. Recently, I completed my first Ironman 70.3 race. I know these successes are directly related from working with Eve.
I would absolutely recommend Nutriworks to all people, and I have already told so many people about it. Many people have asked what I have done to become healthier, because they see it. I think people who are looking for a change from their daily practices of trying to become healthier or lose weight would greatly benefit from the knowledge that Nutriworks gives. And now as a Ironman 70.3 finisher, athletes of all kind need to know how to fuel their bodies for training and racing. It will make them that more successful and confident.
I wish I had done this sooner. I am taking away life long lessons in nutrition and in sport. It restored a part of me that disappeared for some time and gave that back to me, and then some. Eve has been wonderful through the whole process. She really is there for you every step of the way. Anytime I had a question, she would be there. She is motivating, kind and respectful. I wish everyone could have her in their corner. She tailors the program to each individual. My husband's plan is totally different from mine, but together she helped make it work for us!
Anabel Meyer
I was able to get down to my goal race weight, maintain high mileage weeks, and improve my energy levels.
After many years of attempting to qualify for Boston and several marathons that would end with cramps, I started working with Nutriworks. As a busy working mom, my own nutrition and hydration was often not a priority. Working with Nutriworks empowered me to find healthy options that met my hectic lifestyle. As I worked with Kelsey and Maria, I was able to improve my nutrition and hydration in order to improve my overall health and my running. Not only did I gradually improve my race times and qualify for Boston, I was able to train and maintain my energy levels and optimize recovery.
I really learned how to manage my nutritional needs while working full time, being a mom, training for marathons, and completing my PhD. I love that my nutrition plans were individualized and I had some "on the go" options which proved to be so important going from working out to work meetings to parenting. Having so many options allowed me to fuel quickly without much time and effort. No matter how busy I am, I learned I can always find ways to prioritize nutrition and hydration while still eating foods I enjoy.
Most recently, I was able to get down to my goal race weight, maintain high mileage weeks, and improve my energy levels. As a result, I had strong training runs throughout my training cycle and ultimately ran my PR at Boston '23 with a 5 minute improvement over my previous best time. The best part was that I was able to execute my Boston race plan without cramps, without "hitting the wall," and with the last two miles of the race being my fastest miles.
I think anyone can benefit from working with Nutriworks regardless of whether they are athletes or individuals who just want to shed some weight or get healthy.
Alejandro Sills
The program helped me to learn these things, which I feel made a difference in my training and race performance.
My purpose for enrolling in the program was to maximize my running speed for a Marathon in my hometown. Before my enrollment, I ate healthily, but was unsure how to fit in snacks or of the optimal ratio of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. I also didn't know how to balance hydration with the myriad of factors such as air temperature, humidity, or amount of time spent training. The program helped me to learn these things, which I feel made a difference in my training and race performance.
The people at Nutriworks listened to my questions and concerns and were willing to adjust course with my nutrition plan as new factors appeared, such as longer distances run as my training progressed. They advised larger dinners and improved hydration regimens to account for the greater energy expenditures in my training's late stages. Flexibility is an important trait in any business, and I am glad that Nutriworks practices it, too.
I found that I was less hungry because of my strategic snacking during the day in addition to my main meals. This meant more energy. Because I was borderline underweight, my nutrition plan was also geared towards helping me gain a few pounds to be healthier and less prone to injury or illness while training.
Sarah Pricer
For me, the most valuable information I took from working with Nutriworks is how to properly fuel for my performance goals, both in training, and before, during, and after races.
I love that this program was specifically tailored to fit both my lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Eve and her staff checked in with me regularly and were quick to answer questions and provide resources. Before working with Nutriworks, I was intimidated by the idea of tracking macros and really didn't know where to start; Eve took the guesswork out of everything, and I'm still able to eat the foods I enjoy.
For me, the most valuable information I took from working with Nutriworks is how to properly fuel for my performance goals, both in training, and before, during, and after races. After approximately 3.5 months, I've been running faster, getting PRs beyond what I expected(!), and recovering more quickly from difficult workouts. I have a much better understanding of how important fueling is--and notably, how to do it well--and my relationship with food has shifted. I have developed a heathier mindset and approach when it comes to food and eating generally. I no longer find macro-tracking intimidating, and I have some new macro- and family-friendly recipes in our regular rotation. I also find it easier to eat out - my cravings have shifted or gone away entirely; I'm simply not as tempted to over-indulge as I was before. I am much more in tune with what my body needs and wants.
While I've lost weight, more importantly, my body composition and shape has changed; I'm leaner overall and have gained muscle. My clothes fit quite differently now. I also have a much higher energy level throughout the day and am sleeping much better!
Generally, I think everyone would benefit from having a better understanding about nutrition, food, and our relationships with food. Specific to athletes, it's important to fuel well and properly; I had no idea how underfueled I was. Any athlete seeking to reach a goal or improve performance would benefit from working with Nutriworks.
Liz Brock
Ultimately, I was able to not only get a marathon PR but also achieve my goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon!
I was referred to Maria at Nutriworks after speaking with a running friend about not knowing how to maintain proper nutrition while training for a marathon. Maria's guidance helped me lose body fat and build lean muscle during my training cycle. Maria also prepared me for how to fuel before and during races regardless of the weather.
I can now tell the difference in my energy when I am fueled properly for a run as opposed to when I am not. I have more consistently stronger runs and had significant personal records since working with Maria. Ultimately, I was able to not only get a marathon PR but also achieve my goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon!
Working with Nutriworks has been a great experience. Along with the performance benefits, Maria helped me plan meals that were based on things I already enjoyed eating and was always available to answer questions, like when I email her a menu and ask what I should order from a favorite restaurant!
I would absolutely recommend the Nutriworks team. There are a lot of services offered by the experts at Nutriworks and I think everyone can benefit from working with them. As an endurance athlete, I have truly valued the guidance received from Maria for maintaining nutrition while training and racing. I also think people wanting to lose weight in a healthy manner would also benefit from working with this team!

I have lost 15 pounds in about 11 weeks… Now, after working with Eve, my blood sugar levels are normal, my cholesterol levels have improved, I no longer experience acid reflux at night, and my energy level is notable higher.
I now have a clear understanding of carbohydrate/fat/protein ratios and how critical this is for healthy lifestyle. I was very low in protein intake. I also learned about awareness and consciousness about calorie intake.
Eve is a fantastic coach. She has credibility, professional knowledge, compassion and high energy. She listens and tries to fit the Nutriworks plan to each client.
I have lost 15 pounds in about 11 weeks. I have had high blood sugar from my annual physical bloodwork for over 20 years. Now, after working with Eve, my blood sugar levels are normal. My cholesterol numbers have improved as well, with a lower LDL number. I no longer experience acid reflux at night, while sleeping. My energy level is notably higher.
I would definitely recommend this service to someone. The type of person who would benefit is someone willing to be accountable for their actions and open-minded enough to change.

I could not have met my race day goals without her [Maria’s] expertise and guidance.
Maria helped me build a comprehensive Ironman Triathlon training, pre-race and race day, and recovery nutrition plan that allowed me to compete at high level in Ironman Arizona on 11/20/22.
Over a six month period and through extensive trial and error that included sweat rate tests, Maria uncovered that I have an unusually high sweat rate, which meant that we needed to build a very customized plan to meet my body’s unique needs. I could not have met my race day goals without her expertise and guidance.
Maria has been a great partner for me and truly took a meaningful interest in helping me achieve my goals. I will absolutely refer others who have competitive endurance sports goals to the Nutriworks team for their expertise.

I was able to learn how to better balance my diet and as a result, lost the 20 lbs I had been struggling to lose and have more energy to train for my half-marathon.
Thanks to Eve, I now have more energy in my day-to-day life because I have more control over what I eat. I was able to learn how to better balance my diet and as a result, lost the 20 lbs I had been struggling to lose and have more energy to train for my half-marathon.
I would refer Nutriworks Inc. to whoever wants to have a better lifestyle.

Running wise, I feel better than I have in years. Before this summer, I had never run a sub 26 minute 5k and now I am under 24!
Personally, I have benefitted from Nutriworks and working with Eve by helping with my daily food choices and keeping me energized throughout the day. I don’t overeat and I really think about what I put into my body and what helps fuel it, rather than eating blindly.
The goals were realistic and it wasn’t a fad diet. It was a serious look at what I was putting in and the effort exerted from workouts. I love the new found muscle and how much more energy I have. It has also helped me in creating healthy choices for my growing kids and making sure they are getting the nutrition they need.
I have dropped several clothes sizes and have been more conscious of my food intake. Running wise, I feel better than I have in years. Before this summer, I had never run a sub 26 minute 5k and now I am under 24!
I absolutely would refer this service to someone looking to be the best version of themselves. I don’t think it necessarily has to be someone heavily into working out or someone who doesn’t, just learning the correct way to fuel my body has been so valuable. This has proven to be one of the best investments and decisions I’ve made. It’s making my 40th year one for the books. Love you guys!

My headaches and irritability are gone, and I don't feel drained after my workouts! I’ve noticed I have more energy throughout the day and overall improvement in my physical and mental health.
Prior to working with Nutriworks (began in March 2022), I was suffering from daily headaches and irritability. My workouts drained me, and I had weekly occurrences feeling nauseous, shaking, sweating, headaches and overall not feeling well. Eve taught me how to make improvements to my eating habits - how to portion my carbs, proteins and fats throughout the day and it made a huge difference! My headaches and irritability are gone, and I don't feel drained after my workouts! I’ve noticed I have more energy throughout the day and overall improvement in my physical and mental health.
Eve was so knowledgeable and very responsive if I ever had any questions. She is very familiar with the episodes I was experiencing and helped me immensely. I would absolutely refer Nutriworks; any high school athlete would benefit greatly from this!

I’ve experienced noticeable weight loss, muscle definition, and more stamina during my CrossFit workouts as a result.
I started working with Nutriworks about three months ago. By having the team watching what I’m actually eating every day by checking my food log every week I got feedback quickly. I was able to make small changes over time to eat better. One example was being told to eat more fiber, give specific examples of how to do that and then being able to incorporate those changes within a couple days. I learned how to pair foods to make a meal that will fill me up and not be hungry shortly after as well as how to look for those sorts of things when picking food at a restaurant.
I was very surprised that when the website said that they would work with you to still eat the foods you like they really meant it. I’ve always been a picky eater and grew up with pretty unhealthy eating habits so I didn’t think there was any way that would be possible. But I was shocked I still could eat things like waffles. The team just helped to show me tiny things to change how I ate them like switching to wheat and eating with peanut butter instead of covered in butter and syrup. And same goes with eating already prepared foods since most food challenge I’ve done basically require you to make everything from scratch. This helped me not get burnt out on meal prep.
I’ve experienced noticeable weight loss, muscle definition, and more stamina during my CrossFit workouts as a result. Before even reaching my goal, I was able to complete a certain workout 45 seconds faster while scaling it less when we did a re-test of that workout.
I would recommend this service to anyone trying to eat better. Athletes and non-athletes would get a lot of benefit from work with the Nutriworks team.

Eve’s instruction guided me through a healthy process of losing 20 lbs of excess weight and a successful day at Texas 70.3 in Galveston this year (2022).
I was referred to Eve at Nutriworks after a devastating day at Waco 70.3 in 2021 where I struggled on the course due to nutrition issues. I have also been dissatisfied with my weight since Ironman TX is 2019. Eve’s instruction guided me through a healthy process of losing 20 lbs of excess weight and a successful day at Texas 70.3 in Galveston this year (2022).
I started working with Eve in November of 2021. This was after a difficult experience at the Waco 70.3 and after seeing limited success of trying to manage my calorie intake and macros on my own. Eve was able to account for my fitness goals, recent clinically directed blood test results, and my sweat/electrolyte test results. After only 6 months I am very close to my target and I am not struggling with nutrition needs leading up to or during races.
I am more aware of the energy needs leading into and during workouts and how to best meet those needs now. Eve was able to provide guidance and frequently asked about changes in conditions that could affect my performance. Eve specifically told me what restaurants to eat at and what to order in Galveston for the 70.3! In Galveston I achieved a 20 minute PR and I recently won my age group in a competitive Sprint.
It is hard to pick one piece of information as the most valuable. The macro balance is just as important as the calories consumed. The additional hydration on the bike is critical to a good run. Practicing the meal plan during workouts is crucial to a great race. I had always heard that athletic outcomes are 20% workout and 80% diet or “you can’t outwork a bad diet.” I can’t give specific percentages, but I believe my recent improvements in race times are due to executing on the direction from Eve at Nutriworks. I have had a triathlon coach(es) for the past four years and each had race nutrition advice that was well intentioned. No one has been able to put the day to day, pre-race, mid-race, and post race plan together like Eve. This is in addition to keeping an eye on the short term goals such as daily workouts and long term goals such as weight management.
I would absolutely refer Nutriworks, Inc. and I have. I affiliate with all types of athletes that struggle with nutrition in one way or another that can benefit from Nutriworks services. I connect with colleagues at work that need help with their own health journey and have specific dietary needs. When I realize a friend or colleague is curious about where to make improvements in their results I often bring up Eve at Nutriworks.
Matt
Perhaps most notably, because he’s fueling properly, he no longer has the body pains at the end of races that he was experiencing in the early fall of 2021.
Our son Matt, who is a high school cross country and track distance runner, was excelling in his sport, but came to us in the fall of 2021 complaining of pain during the final stretches of his races. While his mom and I had suspected that he wasn’t fueling himself enough and had tried to tell him this was the problem, it took Maria to convince him that how much he was eating in middle school wasn’t cutting it in a high school program, especially after a huge growth spurt. While Matthew was eating properly, and to the point of being full, Maria was able to show us that he was eating about 1,000 calories a day short of what his running demanded. She gave Matt a simple formula for how much and when to eat on training days and when to add in extra race day fuel.
Matt’s appetite has adjusted to the new plan, and he’s eating more and getting the fuel he needs to train and race well. Perhaps most notably, because he’s fueling properly, he no longer has the body pains at the end of races that he was experiencing in the early fall of 2021. Matt even found that by following Maria’s eating plan, he’s finally found energy to sprint at the end of his races! He was skeptical at first, but as soon as he figured out Maria was a fellow runner and that her approach was simple and common sense, he got on board and has been extremely happy with the changes he’s seen in both his races and physical performance.
We already have referred Nutriworks, Inc.! Athletes looking to improve their performance through nutrition will benefit from Maria’s services.
Ricky and Diane Bryant
With Maria’s help, I learned how to manage my meals and calories, lost weight, and got faster (running time improved).
Ricky and Diane started working with Maria in January of 2022 and have both seen amazing results.
Diane says, “my overall performance has improved. I realized I was eating way too many and unneeded calories. Maria really helped me to focus on eating everything but in moderation and as a result, I saw body composition changes in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend Nutriworks’ services to all my friends and family. I think everyone can benefit, not just athletes.” Over two and a half months, Diane lost 15 pounds, 8.9% body fat, and 5.75 inches in her waist/hips combined.
Ricky says, “with Maria’s help, I learned how to manage my meals and calories, lost weight, and got faster (running time improved). I was also able to lower my blood pressure medication. If you’re someone that wants to improve your overall health and image, you can benefit from Nutriworks, Inc.” Over two and a half months, Ricky lost 20 pounds, 6.7% body fat, and 6 inches in waist/hips combined.
Austin Birch
All in all, I have seen both mental & physical benefits that cannot be understated.
“I have benefited in so many ways by working with Maria over the last 5 months. First off, I have lost a significant amount of weight which has drastically improved my body composition. Additionally, the suggested changes to my diet have increased & stabilized my energy levels throughout the day. All in all, I have seen both mental & physical benefits that cannot be understated.
There is no single piece of information from Maria that I can single out as being the most impactful. I truly believe that taking into account everything she has told me, from fitness to food, and applying it holistically on a consistent basis has been key to my success. With her help, I have lost 30 lbs and 10% body fat.
I recommend working with Maria to pretty much everyone I talk to. Trying to spread her gospel as far and wide as possible. I look forward to continuing on my health journey with Maria’s help and can’t wait to see the results 5 months and even 5 years from now.”
Jodi Jordan
I ended up placing 5th in my age group and securing a spot in the world championships (for my first 70.3 Ironman race).
“My first time working with Kelsey was in 2015. My goal was to lose a few pounds and qualify for the Boston Marathon by running the st.George marathon. I did all of those things. I then reached out to her after the birth of my daughter. I wanted to make sure I was fueling properly while nursing and running.
More recently, I worked with Kelsey on my first 70.3 Ironman race. I needed to maintain weight and also have training and race day nutrition dialed in. I was able to do this successfully while gaining muscle and reducing body fat! I ended up placing 5th in my age group and securing a spot in the world championships. It was so successful that I transitioned to training for a marathon, with the goal of qualifying for the Boston marathon again. I shaved 19 min off of my PR, finishing with a 3:04.
I may be a bit of an addict, but I do rely on Kelsey to fine tune my plan for every race/event that I participate in. She helps keep me healthy, and makes it very easy to execute with new recipe ideas and clarification on meal and snack nutrition. I’ve learned the importance of sticking to a plan and not under eating. Snacks are very important to my meal plan and I was struggling to get them in before. They have made a huge difference in my daily eating.
Any athlete would benefit from working with Nutriworks but specifically endurance athletes that have either stalled in progress or who are struggling with energy levels. I would absolutely recommend her and have to several friends.”
Rebekah Miller
I’ve lost 18 lbs, reduced body fat from 28.8% to 19.8%, and gained more energy!
“I worked with Eve for about 3 months and then I joined the Holiday Challenge from November to January. I’ve been vegan for about 3-5 years, but never kept track of whether or not I got enough protein. I’ve certainly wanted to lose weight since I turned 40 (now I’m 45). I was able to keep low calories but never lost weight. Evidently I needed to get enough protein, fat and carbs in order for me to lose weight.
It’s important to count my macro #s and I learned that I can do it for free on the MyFitnessPal app! Eve gave me a list of meals for 4 days and customized it to for my likes and typical foods I buy, which was a big help.
I typically have 7 lbs of water weight that is hard to control and fluctuates but have successfully gotten under 140 lbs. I’ve lost 18 lbs, reduced body fat from 28.8% to 19.8%, and gained more energy!”

I have achieved (all in one year and at a National Event), All American status, ranking number 1 in the state of Texas, placing 8th in the Sprint, and 17th in the Olympic Distances at AGNC USA Triathlon - the first female to achieve this standard in the metroplex.
“I have worked with Eve since June 2020. I was struggling with my energy levels after 2 to 3 workouts a day as well as recovery foods. I thought being a mother and being older, I was a lot wiser. I was ignorant on sports nutrition. I kept guessing on what to do or how to tackle a food plan and Eve provided data, and constructive guidance which transformed into tangible results.
Eve walked me through the basics of nutrition during each follow up visit. She and her support staff answered any question I had with turn-key response. She put me at ease during our meeting times and made me feel comfortable and informed. Honest people with altruistic attitudes.
I have benefitted by working with Eve in 3 key ways:
Understanding my body and how it processes food which transforms into real energy.
Maximizing my performance based on proper fuel and hydration intake
Working with me on the timing of when to consume nutrition before, during and post race events.
Within 6 months: My energy levels were up. I was no longer falling asleep at the dinner table after a hard days work out. I feel hydrated, less sore. I can complete my daily chores and responsibilities, after challenging work outs. I can complete long endurance work outs. My target times and goals were met with ease. I felt more confident before and during a race, knowing that I had an action nutrition plan put into place. My weight is ideal in order for me to place at the Elite level in National events.
Through Eves guidance, at amateur level, within my age group, I have achieved (all in one year and at a National Event), All American status, ranking number 1 in the state of Texas, placing 8th in the Sprint, and 17th in the Olympic Distances at AGNC USA Triathlon - the first female to achieve this standard in the metroplex and 15 fastest USMS swimmer since 1971 in the 100 butterfly, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
I would refer Eve to any athlete looking to improve their energy levels, work out and race performance, overall lifestyle upgrade.”

I've since lost 30 pounds and 10% body fat. At this point in the process, I'm getting ready to move out of weight loss and move forward with maintaining my current weight and level of fitness.
“My M.D. suggested that at my age, 65, losing weight would be extremely difficult. Old age means much slower metabolism. She suggested a focus on improved health vs. weight loss.
That wasn't what I wanted to hear.
I tried everything to lose weight. I got very little results. I had worked with Eve successfully several years before. As a last ditch effort, I went back to Eve and Nutriworks. Eve is a fun, gregarious woman. She's highly skilled in her profession. Her plan is excellent. And it is hard work. She assured me of success IF I followed the plan consistently.
I agreed to do the work.
After the first few weeks, I saw very little results. I complained. Eve reviewed my food diary and workout logs. She determined I'd followed the plan to the letter of the law about 20% of the time. That was a wakeup call. I was still eating at restaurants occasionally, allowing for "cheat meals" several times a week and not consistent with the exercise plan.
I got to work and followed the plan 100% of the time. I put in long hard hours at the gym. I'd come home exhausted and needed to take a nap after those workouts. I ate exactly what was on my plan, recorded everything accurately every single day. I began to lose 2 pounds a week. Week after week after week. 2 pounds.
The plan was working.
I found the weekly check in's to be of great value. Several times I hit bumps. Despite following the plan, I saw no weight loss that week and a few times I actually gained weight. My weekly coach assured me that this was normal. She calmly said to relax, trust the plan. I did that and the weight continued to come off.
I got increasingly fit and strong. I could workout longer and harder. I no longer came home from the gym exhausted needing a nap. My "skinny clothes" began to fit again. Success fed my desire to stick to the plan. I hit the gym all the time and ate only what was on my meal plan. I learned that cheat days really wreck the hard work that you've done during the week. Restaurants do the same thing. 500 calories is enough for a healthy, filling meal.
I've since lost 30 pounds and 10% body fat. At this point in the process, I'm getting ready to move out of weight loss and move forward with maintaining my current weight and level of fitness. Eve will show me how to accomplish that. If you are serious about losing weight, willing to follow a rigorous plan of diet and exercise, go see Eve and Nutriworks.”
Alex Duran
Eve showed me how to gain weight, not get fat and keep my speed. I would recommend her to any of my football friends.
“After getting sick with acid reflux and losing 30 pounds, Eve helped me gain 15 pounds in 10 weeks while maintaining my body fat percentage. Since then, I’ve gained an additional 10 pounds while playing football.
I had 3 appointments with the first helping me figure out my meal plans while going to school and off-season football. My second appointment planned out my summer meal plan with my workouts. The last appointment prepared me as I went back to school and how to adjust my meal plan once I’ve reached my weight goal.
I now know how to fuel my body before and after workouts and what foods to eat that won’t flare my acid reflux. Eve showed me how to gain weight, not get fat and keep my speed. I would recommend her to any of my football friends.
From mom: Thank you for teaching Alex the right way to achieve his weight goal that will not have a lasting negative impact on his life. Understanding a protein, carb and fat will be invaluable to him for the rest of his life. As a mom, I’m so glad we called and my son has the tools to do things correctly. He starts to prepare something and says “Eve wouldn’t approve this” and makes a different choice (sometimes).”

I would track my weight and measurements to report for each of our virtual meetings and they were just as effective as meeting in person.
“I have been working with Eve for about 6 months and continue to check in after races or if I need anything. I live in Wisconsin, so all of our meetings were virtual. I would track my weight and measurements to report for each of our virtual meetings and they were just as effective as meeting in person.
I met Eve last fall during a visit to Texas to see some friends. I saw the results they were getting with changing their diet and how it helped with their training and racing, so decided to give it a try. I signed up in January and my first goal was to lose the extra 10 pounds that I gained after kids that no amount of working out seemed to be helping me lose. I always had this attitude that as long as I workout regularly, I didn't really need to watch what I eat that closely. Working with Eve completely changed my mindset as I started to pay better attention to my calorie intake, my Macros and portion sizes and hit that goal within the initial 6-8 weeks (down from 27.1% body fat to 21.8% body fat!). What I really liked is that I didn't have to follow some special meal plan, but could work with the normal meals that my family already enjoyed with a few tweaks.
Once I was at my goal weight, I was able to increase my calorie intake and maintain that weight. Initially it was an adjustment to increase my calorie intake, so I learned to adjust appropriately based on my daily workouts. The second goal was to learn race day nutrition and focused nutrition the week prior to races. Since I started working with Eve, I have run one half-marathon and completed two Olympic triathlons and qualified for USA Triathlon Nationals! Taking in the right nutrition prior to the race and during the race I believe was key in my success at all of my races so far this year.
I think the way Eve teaches you about nutrition is the right way to do it and is sustainable. It is not a quick fix diet, but a life changing way to eat that many people could benefit from. I have already recommended this service to a few people and constantly share how it worked for me! "

As an athlete, learning to keep my carbs topped off during regular training has made a big difference in my energy level.
“I’ve learned how to fuel my body without gaining weight. I have lost approximately 11 pounds and kept it off so far. I have the tools to keep it off while still having the energy I need. I also recently raced Ironman Tulsa and had a near perfect race!
As an athlete, learning to keep my carbs topped off during regular training has made a big difference in my energy level. Learning that I need to eat/drink enough calories that equal what I have burned plus the metabolic calories was a huge eye opener.
What I liked the most is that she takes a three-day diary of what you eat and uses these foods to create your meal plans in the beginning. She takes out what isn’t good and adds what will work that is comparable. This makes it really easy to stay with it.
I have referred two people to Eve. They have very different goals. One is wanting to gain muscle. The other loose weight. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to Eve who wants to improve their athletic performance, their body composition or just how to eat healthy. She is very knowledgeable in her field."
Amy Groat
Making the decision to work with Eve and Nutriworks was truly a pivotal moment in my life that positively effected so much more than the results you see on the outside.
“Eve has changed my relationship with food completely. I had always heard that the key to getting the body I wanted was 80% nutrition and 20% exercise, but I never really understood how true that was until I started working with Eve. With her knowledge and guidance I have lost the excess weight that wouldn’t budge, increased muscle mass & tone, but most importantly I have never felt more confident in myself than I do now.
I have actually worked with Eve a few times over the past 2 years. I initially chose the Silver Program for Fat Loss and learned a great deal from having my meal plans done for me the first 4 weeks. Most recently I did the Bronze Program to have some guidance in changing my body composition.
I first started in June of 2019. I had been working out for 5 months or so consistently but was not seeing the changes in my body I expected. I was 151 pounds when I met with Eve and in the first 2 months I dropped 10 pounds. Two years later and I have lost about 15 pounds and kept it off. My body composition has changed completely and in the last few months Eve’s guidance has helped me reveal more muscle tone.
Eve has taught me how to create a proper meal that includes a carb, fat, and protein. I have realized that what I thought was considered healthy eating in the past is not at all, and that you don’t have to go on a “diet” to get the results you want. I had never seen a nutritionist before and was a little nervous going in.I have eaten poorly most of my life, and the thought of eating chicken and rice or getting scolded for slipping was probably something that kept me from getting help sooner.
I really love working with Eve because she created a plan based around my life, my schedule, and my likes/dislikes. She worked in my vices to keep my cravings satisfied and I never felt the need to lie on my food logs because Eve never makes you feel guilty for eating something you probably shouldn’t have. She’s so easy to talk to and has so much knowledge to share. Making the decision to work with Eve and Nutriworks was truly a pivotal moment in my life that positively effected so much more than the results you see on the outside.
I would absolutely refer Nutriworks to someone and have referred a few people to Eve. I think this service is truly beneficial for everyone to learn how to eat healthy and fuel your body. There are so many diets and conflicting information out there that make nutrition so confusing. Working with Eve has taught me what is the right way to eating healthier and I wish everyone has this knowledge because while it takes a lot of discipline and self control, you don’t have to sacrifice foods that you love and it’s sustainable."
Emerson Francis
She is stronger now and more confident in her body. She knows that her body is stronger than before and she will be a better athlete as a result.
“Since working with Eve virtually, Emerson has grown almost 4 inches and gained almost 25 pounds. Prior to that, she had been on growth hormone replacement for over a year with minimal results. Eve was able to develop a diet plan that gave her body the balanced nutrition it needed to actually be able to grow while still being a competitive athlete. What she has taught her will benefit her throughout her lifetime, not just as an athlete.
Emerson is so happy with how she looks and feels. She is stronger now and more confident in her body. She knows that her body is stronger than before and she will be a better athlete as a result.
I love how much better my daughter feels about herself and the way she looks. Nothing compares to feeling healthy and confident in your body, and for teenage girls feeling that way is so very important for their self-esteem and social development.
As an OB/Gyn, I would recommend nutritional services for any high performing female athlete starting as a teenager. Women have a finite amount of years to maximize their bone mass that must sustain them for the rest of their life - being underweight or an endurance athlete can decrease maximum bone strength and cause serious problems that may not be realized for many years to come."
Samantha Harris
Besides 40 pounds of weight loss, a 15% decrease in body fat percentage, and 23 inches gone, I feel more energetic and have seen improvements in my athletic ability. Not to mention that I feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin.
“Eve has literally helped me change the way I see myself. Even though I exercised regularly, I remained overweight and have always seen myself as big. I have lost weight temporarily in the past with diets but would ultimately end up putting the weight back on. I felt like I knew what to do, but it just wouldn’t work for me. Then after reaching a near-high weight last year, I decided that I was going to need help. I knew that the key for me to lose the weight and keep it off was going to be changing the way I ate for good, not just for a while. I have now reached my weight loss goal and am in a new phase of maintenance, something I have never done before. I feel confident that this is something I can do thanks to my work with Eve. Now I no longer see myself as a big, but just as a normal-sized person.
Besides 40 pounds of weight loss, a 15% decrease in body fat percentage, and 23 inches gone, I feel more energetic and have seen improvements in my athletic ability. Not to mention that I feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin.
I now see the food I eat as fuel for my body. Before, I saw food as a reward for exercise and would work out and eat junk afterwards. Now I am much more aware that if I want my body to feel good and to be able to do the exercises I am doing, I need to give it the proper fuel to do so.
I would definitely refer Nutriworks! I think that anyone who wants to improve their body, whether it is weight loss, weight gain or just improving athletic ability, can benefit from Eve’s experience and learn how to use nutrition to achieve their goals."
Dave Goodrich
I learned how to balance my carbs, fat and protein and the loss of twenty pounds improved my training and appearance!
“I’ve been working with Eve for seven months and with her help, have reached my goal weight! I very much appreciated Eve’s willingness to take my less than usual eating habits and adapt them into a good nutrition program that meets my needs.
I learned how to balance my carbs, fat and protein and the loss of twenty pounds improved my training and appearance! But the most noted result is how much quicker and less painful my race day recovery is. Her help with training and race day nutrition greatly helped with my recovery after races and heavy training days.
I would recommend Eve’s service for any overweight runner (really any runner) that wants to improve their recovery time and improve their training.”
Maia Kelton
Eve has made me realize that even with a busy lifestyle, there is always a way to fit a good diet and exercise in my routine.
“My weight has fluctuated throughout the years because I was never consistent with eating well and being active. My family has always eaten relatively well, but I work two full-time jobs and was always too tired to go to the gym at the end of the day. Eve has helped me find balance in my lifestyle, especially during the pandemic, since it was difficult at first to adjust to working from home. I am significantly more energized and I feel great! I now find exercise fun and I look forward to going to the gym or playing pickleball with my neighbors every night.
I never realized that the reason I felt so tired by the end of the day was because I was not eating meals throughout the day. Before, I used to eat seldom throughout the day and have a pretty big dinner. Now, I eat all 3 meals and will snack between meals if I am feeling hungry. I no longer feel lethargic by the end of the day.
I started working with Eve in December and am still working towards my goal, but I have made great progress and am only 3 pounds away from meeting my goal. It wasn’t until I saw my before and after photos that I realized how much weight I have lost. I feel (and look) 10 years younger! One of my goals with Eve was to be swimsuit ready by the time the pool in my neighborhood opened – it opened last Saturday and I feel more confident in my swimsuit than ever.
I am very grateful for the Nutriworks family and I feel like I have benefitted not only physically, but mentally as well. I would absolutely refer this service to any of my friends. I think the type of person who would benefit most from working with Eve is someone who is ready to make a big change in their life and who is willing to put in the work. "
Nikki Hagood
I've learned how to balance my diet in so many ways after working with Eve for 3 months; macros, portions, micronutrients.
I have learned to eat to fuel my workouts, to set fitness goals and work towards them. I was having stomach aches after meals before and now do not. My skin is cleared up. I have reduced my body fat to a healthy percentage, lost 13 pounds, and gained muscle. I have increased my distance and time while running and I am still making progress in the weight room.
The most valuable information I took from Eve is balance and choosing good to fuel my body. I now have a grasp on how to balance my meals, how to plan meals, and how to work in treats or going out.
I would actually refer anyone to Nutriworks, Inc. So many people buy into misinformation about health and just need to learn how to eat healthy instead of buying into a fad. Eve is very informative and teaches you how to be independent. She'll also support you along the way. When I was struggling with not losing one week, Eve helped me see the bigger picture, not just a number."
Marcelo (Mountain Biking)
“It was very eye-opening doing sweat tests. I knew I did sweat a lot while exercising, but had never quantified for different types of exercises.”
Eve offers a very personalized service. She was very detailed-oriented to understand what products I had used … and made all calculations of calories, sodium, fluids that I needed, and suggested strategies that I had opportunity to test and provide feedback.
Then adjustments were made as necessary. It was very eye-opening doing sweat tests. I knew I did sweat a lot while exercising, but had never quantified for different types of exercises, and therefore didn’t know what or how much to put back into my body to keep performing, which is especially important for endurance events.
Altogether, the process was 4 months since first consultation. I lost 12lbs, and more importantly finished the races I wanted without feeling de-hydrated at the end.
The most valuable information I learned was how, when and what to refuel my body with, while racing, while using the products that I’m familiar with and know work for me. For racing, the benefit was having a strategy, and being able to test and make adjustments. But overall, having the ability to structure well the meals with the proper groups/quantities in order to lose weight. Something that wasn’t happening despite the tremendous amount of hours I had been putting on training.
I absolutely wish I had done it long time ago, and as such, I would recommend it to beginners and advanced athletes that want to improve their results.

“She is a professional, and I always feel confident that I am receiving advice grounded in science.”
I'm a competitive distance runner (mostly marathons and ultras) for whom proper nutrition and fueling are critical. Eve taught me the basics of constructing a meal/snacking plan that I can easily follow and adjust without sacrificing foods that I enjoy.
She takes the time to understand your goals and to develop an individualized plan to achieve them. She cares about her clients' successes and failures. She is a professional, and I always feel confident that I am receiving advice grounded in science. I never worry about conflicts of interest or whether I am being marketed to for the latest supplement du jour.
The overall (and most exciting) benefit is that both times I've worked extensively with Eve, I've achieved PR times in road marathons, even as I've gotten older. Most recently, at the age of 44, I PR'd at the BMW Dallas Marathon with a chip time of 3:16:19.
I first began working with Eve in April 2014 when she helped me get a handle on gastrointestinal distress issues that were plaguing my long runs/races. As a consequence, I was deliberately under-fueling and limiting my performance. I checked in with her periodically through 2015 as I ventured into ultra running and needed help learning to fuel for longer events.
In April 2018, I sought her help again to overhaul my diet and lose weight as I prepared to go for another PR in a fall marathon. With her guidance, I also noticed a change in body composition (reduced body fat) that complemented my disciplined training resulting in faster paces at an easier effort. I’ve learned that achieving an optimal and sustainable race weight takes time, patience, planning, and accountability. There are no safe shortcuts.
I have referred several people to Nutriworks in the past, and I will continue to do so. I think everyone can benefit from a solid nutrition/diet assessment but especially athletes who seek to improve their performance. Eve is a joy to work with and an expert in her field. I cannot stress enough the importance of consulting a licensed, degreed professional for nutrition advice. Eve has the degrees, license, and certifications to back her up. I will continue to work with her as I embark on more ambitious goals for 2019 and beyond!

“I have better stamina and shorter recovery times from learning how to properly fuel for my sport and make adjustments as needed.”
Eve has changed the way I eat and has helped me have more balanced nutrition to keep me fueled for my figure skating. She has helped me choose what to eat, how much and when. When I eat properly, I notice that my stamina is better when running my programs. I also noticed that my soreness and recovery are minimal compared to what they used to be. I used to get horrible cramping in my legs and would be sore for days following a heavier training day. The cramping has since gone and recovery times have also been drastically reduced.
Oddly enough, I was eating about twice as much as I previously was. Eve has also helped me understand macronutrients and how to properly chose them according to my goals (performance, weight loss, etc). This year I finally met my goal of winning the national title of “Adult Gold Ladies National Champion”. First, I had a qualifying competition for the Midwestern part of the US, where I had to place in the top four, then was able to proceed on to nationals. I notice that as I age, the more important nutrition becomes to keep my body performing best. Winning nationals wouldn’t have been possible without the help I received from Eve to fuel properly.

“Little did I know how easy Eve would make healthy eating. ”
I first started visiting Eve because I couldn’t find a solution to chronic migraines that landed me in the hospital. I had just started seeing a bodywork/massage therapist for the same reason, and he suggested I see a nutritionist with a sports performance focus.
In the past I had successfully gotten super fit - extremely lean and strong - however, during that time I was obsessive about logging my food, to a point where I don’t think it was healthy. This time around I was worried about returning to the stress that came along with meal prep, hard to find ingredients for recipes, and eating 5 meals a day. Life was already stressful. I needed this to be easy for me.
Little did I know how easy Eve would make healthy eating. She broke down fats, carbs and proteins into simple lists, explained how I need to pair foods for my body, and made eating easy. I truly appreciate her simple workout and eating plan. Feeding my body the fuel it needs to run healthfully helped me get my body in order and reduce my migraines. The migraine reduction helped me quit my job, which eliminated stress, and now the migraines are pretty much gone. It’s shocking, I still can’t believe it.
A side note of importance for women - for the past 16 months my menstrual cycle has been inconsistent. Doing exactly what Eve told me got my cycle back in order. I think this was a big step toward getting a handle on stress and my health. Now when my cycle is out of whack I go back to my food and workout schedule - and even if I’m under stress in my life, my cycle comes back. It’s amazing how powerful food and exercise are for my body!
I think I’ve been working with eve for 7 months - and keep seeing her. I really want this to stick and consider her my nutrition coach! My migraines are gone, that’s the big one. I also have a solid understanding of healthful eating and can quickly make eating decisions on the go. A side benefit that I didn’t expect is how much I’ve helped my family. I’d rather they book an appointment with Eve, but they are now logging food and eating more balanced meals that has led to weight loss and an uptick in energy for them.
Eating a well-rounded meal isn’t complicated and eating in general isn’t complicated. If I give my body good meals then I feel my best - and if I’m not feeling well I need to take a look at what I’m eating to see if I’m doing what I need to do first, before going to the doctor.
Everyone should go see Eve! I tell everyone I know about her. If you don’t feel well, start with your food and exercise and go see Eve. A side note on the sports performance focus - I’m not an athlete, and wasn’t given a detailed answer as to why I needed to find a nutritionist who worked with actual athletes. My massage therapist who gave me this recommendation is in the top of his field so I didn’t question him - I searched Google. After making a few calls I had nutritionists who wanted to start off with running a lot of tests that were expensive. One nutritionist told me that I had a thyroid problem, and she made this declaration during her first 5 minutes with me over the phone. I spoke to more people who were unhelpful and judgmental about this request, but I stuck to my guns and I’m so so so absolutely thankful that I stumbled across Eve and Nutriworks.

“I no longer struggle with eating, my body has more muscle and less fat, my lifts have improved, I look and feel better, and I have developed better eating habits.”
My life has improved significantly since my first appointment with Kelsey. The benefits are too many to count, but the most important ones are: I no longer struggle with eating, my body has more muscle and less fat, my lifts have improved, I look and feel better, and I have developed better eating habits.
Since I was in high school, I struggled with eating. I ate the wrong foods- mainly carbs and sugar for breakfast- and became hungry almost immediately after. I would then eat anything to feel full and as a consequence, I put on too much weight. I knew I had a problem when I drove through a Sonic drive thru a second time to get more candy on my ice cream.
I realized I was too heavy and as a result, developed what I later realized was an unhealthy habit to lose weight. I began fasting for long periods of time. I would go 20 hours without eating until my body was shaky and my memory was foggy. This method worked-at first. I lost 30 pounds by fasting. Even though I didn't feel good, my weight was under control, and I thought I was on the right track. August of 2018, my gym bought a body composition monitor, and I realized my body fat percentage was close to 20 percent. I was crushed. I spend 5 months in denial that my body fat was that high and finally made a nutrition appointment. Kelsey helped me get though the initial few weeks of change, until I was comfortable with new eating habits. After I implemented her recommendations, I have been able to meet my goals. I exceeded my target amount of fat loss and currently am building muscle with a different meal plan. I have discovered several bonuses since I changed my diet. I have more energy since I am leaner and also found my unhealthy mental behavior disappeared when I ate properly. I feel more confident and flattered with the looks and attention I get in the gym.
I have worked with Kelsey since January 14, 2019. I still see her every other month to assess my progress and design my eating around my goals.
I am leaner, stronger and healthier. As of August 2019, I have lifted weights for 8 years and am now the leanest I’ve been since I was in high school. This means when I look in the mirror, I can see all of the hard work I’ve invested in my body. My lifts in the gym have increased. I can squat 3 plates and bench 100 lb dumbbells. This strength is useful when I work with machinery or help my parents with their luggage. Lastly, I feel better. Kelsey told me it’s important to have balanced meals spaced throughout the day. I can think more clearly and feel calm and level-headed.
The most valuable information is knowing what and when to eat. Despite the panoply of articles I read and fringe diets I tried, I did not understand nutrition until Kelsey spoke with me and gave me a personalized meal plan. I no longer feel anxious about being too hungry or putting on too much weight. Anyone who is willing put in the effort will benefit from working with Kelsey.
I appreciate all of the help from Kelsey. Staying healthy while working a full time desk job sometimes feels like an uphill battle, and I get irritated when colleagues joke about the huge bottle of water I carry or when coworkers tease me for avoiding donuts from the breakroom trough. In spite of all this, Kelsey reinforces my effort and motivates me to pursue healthy eating and a lean physique.

“The awful sloshing sound during runs is now a thing of the past.“
I decided to work with Eve after a marathon that I was unable to finish due to an upset stomach. My concern was that during all of my long runs and longer races I was unable to intake any water or fluids.
Running while completely dehydrated was not only effecting my performance, but it was also dangerous. Right off the bat, Eve was able to identify that my sodium intake was really low which was affecting the way I absorbed liquids. My diet now reflects this change.
I worked with Eve for about 6 months. We started the journey in spring and ended it in November after my goal race. I set a PR and a BQ at the Route 66 Marathon without any stomach problems. I was able to drink and take fuel as I practiced during my training.
I am able to drink fluids during my runs and take gel as well. The awful sloshing sound during runs is now a thing of the past. I don’t bonk during training runs or longer races because I am not severely dehydrated and I can fuel my body better during the runs.
Tweaking my sodium intake was really important to be able to perform better. Eve also offered me solutions on the methods of taking gels during the runs and reducing GI upset. I was also given feedback on my food intake the days leading up to races. I was frequently under eating the day before to reduce the chance of GI upset.
Any endurance athlete who wants to perform better would benefit from this service.
