Kelsey Hampton is a Registered Dietitian (RD), born and raised in Texas. As far back as she can remember, Kelsey has been involved in sports. Swimming, soccer, gymnastics ,and running are some of the activities she has competed in, but it was swimming that she chose to compete in at a collegiate level. Kelsey attended Henderson State University, earning academic and athletic scholarships, and served as the captain of her swim team. After receiving her Bachelors of Science degree in 2009, Kelsey went on to Louisiana Tech University to complete her Dietetic Internship. During this internship, Kelsey was selected for a sports nutrition rotation at St. Vincent Sports Performance in Indianapolis. As an athlete herself, Kelsey has always been interested in fueling to win, but it was during this rotation that Kelsey determined sports nutrition was what she wanted to pursue as a career.

Kelsey earned her Master’s of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University in 2014 and became a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) in 2017. Kelsey is professionally affiliated with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Dallas Dietetic association. She is also a member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association and Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Dietetic practice group. Kelsey has competed in several half marathons, a marathon, and triathlons. Her current athletic goal is to race a 70.3 distance triathlon. Kelsey enjoys traveling, trying new sports and activities, and spending time with her Weimaraner, Harlen.
