Bethany Villarreal joined the Nutriworks team in 2012 as an intern before becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She understands the natural synergy of nutrition, exercise, and health to promote performance for athletes of all levels.

Bethany is a Fightin’ Texas Aggie, having earned her B.S. in Nutritional Science and a M.S. in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Born and raised in Tomball, Texas, she began her 11 years of competitive swimming with U.S.A. Swimming club teams. As a college student, Bethany continued to compete as a member of the Texas A&M Triathlon team. She has since raced the BCS Marathon and the Chevron Houston Marathon, eleven half marathons, and trains in powerlifting.

Professionally, Bethany is associated with several organizations including Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN), all of which continue to develop her interest in the relationship between athletics and nutrition. Along with nutrition, she loves animals, having 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 snake of her own, and enjoys Broadway shows, country dancing, traveling, and watching Texas A&M football and the Houston Texans.
